We are green beauty enthusiasts and organic skincare advocates. 

Our founder Rumbi Serima-Fowler is an award-winning organic Skincare Formulator Tutor, Organic Skincare Expert, and Beauty Nutrition Advisor, who believes beauty is from the inside out, Mentor, Author of the Black Girls Little Black Book of Beauty, and a Beauty Magazine Editor.

Rumbi also runs Mimi’s Academy and is also a natural and organic skincare advocate and coach who is passionate about bringing and sharing green health and beauty benefits, ideas and alternatives to everyone who is interested.

Her passion was ignited by the desire to alleviate the effects of her autistic son’s skin allergies, whilst by eliminating as many toxins within his body and environment also increasing his chances for a healthy lifestyle.

Her interest in making cosmetics stemmed from the fact that she was not always happy with the quality of products available and decided to make my own. She fell completely in love with formulating and creating lots of different products and working with all manner of food grade ingredients.

Rumbi believes in a holistic approach and the importance of diet alongside a green, clean and plant based skincare routine for the chances of both a healthy body and glowing skin!

Rumbi recognises that getting a cosmetic beauty brand to market is a lot of hard work and can be time consuming. Drawing on her years of experience, she now also helps creative innovators who want to deliver high performance products and treatments to their target customers, after discussing the product, vision, and plan. She works with aspiring artisan formulators and service-based entrepreneurs like hairdressers and beauticians to turn their idea into a fully legally compliant industry brand.
